This week, our guest artist is Emmy-nominated animation director Guy Moore, an old friend whom you may remember for his delightful drawing of the little-kid versions of Charles and Arok, and his art in the action-packed Weird Luck prequel tale Research.
Nicky's longtime love for the work of P.G. Wodehouse has been a major influence on how he writes Smiley, and Guy's rendition of Smiley perfectly captures the Wodehouse vibe. You can tell he'd be right at home having lunch at the Drones Club with Bertie Wooster and the gang (and no doubt pulling Bertie into some intricate hare-brained scheme).
If we ever have the opportunity to turn Weird Luck into an animated series, we want Guy to direct it.
