Here’s where you can find the Weird Luck stories we’ve written and published in non-comic form. We’re working on more.
Spoon Knife 5: Liminal
Co-edited by Nick and Andrew, the fifth volume of the annual Spoon Knife neuroqueer lit anthology from Autonomous Press includes Andrew’s short story “The Passenger” and Nick’s short story “Something Nice.” Plus tales by Cody Goodfellow, Verity Reynolds, Margaret Killjoy, Scott Nicolay, Craig Laurance Gidney, and more.
In Andrew’s psychedelic sci-fi novel, an amnesiac killer wanders among alternate realities, pursued by the Reality Patrol, as he tries to piece together who he is and unravel a shadowy enemy’s plot against him. Spoiler Warning: this book takes place after the storyline of the Weird Luck webcomic!
Spoon Knife 3: Incursions
Nick and Andrew were the co-editors of this third volume of the annual Spoon Knife neuroqueer lit anthology. The anthology includes Andrew’s novelette “Space Pirate Stowaway” and Nick’s short story “Waiting for the Zeppelins,” plus tales by Ada Hoffmann, Judy Grahn, Verity Reynolds, and more.
Spoon Knife 2: Test Chamber
This second volume of the annual Spoon Knife neuroqueer lit anthology includes Andrew’s short story “Monsters” (which takes place in the same city as the Weird Luck webcomic) and Nick’s 15,000-word novelette “Bianca and the Wu-Hernandez” (featuring the first meeting of two key Weird Luck webcomic characters).
Weird Luck #0: Coked Out Demon Worshippers
Before working on the webcomic, Mike made his first foray into illustrating the Weird Luck Saga with the stand-alone comic book issue Weird Luck #0. Features adaptations of two of Andrew’s short stories: “Coked Out Demon Worshippers” (starring the demon-wolf Akaz) and “Water Damage” (an everyday slice-of-life story from the Feral City waterfront).
