We already met Madeline de Verninac when she served as narrator and protagonist of our previous prequel tale, "Protection."

It's fun seeing the ways different artists interpret our characters. JingleJude, our guest artist for this story, draws Madeline quite differently from the way Dave Felton drew her in "Protection," and we find both versions delightful.
